HR- Automatic Truck Licence Training

The HR automatic vehicle licence in Perth allows you to drive heavy rigid trucks equipped with automatic gearboxes, which means you won’t have to worry about clutching. You’ll receive a Heavy Rigid licence with a limited (A) endorsement. This applies to trucks with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of over 8 tons (with 3 OR more axles) and trailers that weigh up to 9 tons.
Many opportunities for driving buses or coaches often only require an automatic drivers licence and It offers several advantages, such an easy operation which reduces driver fatigue and improved fuel efficiency
Eligibility Requirements for an HR-A Training Course
Before you can take the test, you must meet specific requirements. An individual must:
- Hold a current WA C-Class driver's licence for at least 2 years.
- Have an Australian MR driver's licence for at least 12 months.
- Provide secondary proof of identity.
- Applicants are required to take the eyesight test when applying for heavy vehicle driver's license.The eyesight can be conducted at the DOT office or agent whenever you apply for your licence or at the RTO office if you decide to be trained and & assessed by them.If you use visual aids to pass the eyesight test, So you can not drive without visual aids because there will be a condition on your license.
- Applicants are required to declare any kind of health and medical condition which impairs their ability to control a heavy vehicle.
The program includes one day of face to face 4 hours training with an hour assessment.
