Unit of Competency Requirements
RTO / Training
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Hold a current and valid Australian C Class licence.
- Provide two (2) forms of appropriate identification.
- Complete the theory assessment for TLIC3004 Drive Heavy Rigid Vehicle.
- Complete the required practical training.
- Demonstrate competency in all assessment tasks, including vehicle inspections, fault finding, safe driving practices, manoeuvring, and road driving.
- Meet the language, literacy and numeracy requirements of the training program.

A double-clutch transmission also known as HR open road-ranger or crash box. This is highly challenging transmission comes with split system high low range 13 speed to 18 speed gear shifting system.
HR - Automatic
An automatic transmission heavy rigid truck operates with a tranmission system that shifts gears automatically, without the need for the driver to manually engage or disengage a clutch or select gears.
